Walton Community School, Peterborough - Open Day 30th June 2007.
Walton Community School will sound it's last bell and close it's doors to students on Friday 13th July 2007. An open day was organised to celebrate the school's achievements over the past 69 years. Past & present staff, students, parents and the general public were invited in to have a look around the school as it is now, view archive material, witness the digging up and opening of the time capsule that was buried in 1985 plus much more.

We just had to claim our own space on the visitors wall!

At about 3:30pm the highlight of the day appeared - a Spitfire. The infamous aeroplane performed a fly over of the school and did several passes.
