This page is not striclty limited to railway stations of Peterborough. We plan to cover anything related to the railways of the area.

Railways in the area have played a big part in the expansion of Peterborough. Stations, crossings, bridges and railways have come and gone over the years but it still remains to be an important and successful link to the city.

The old Victorian footbridge stairwell just before demolition in the early 1980s. The footbridge that exists today is being constructed on the left hand side of the photograph.
